Refund Policy

Overview
FreelanceShield offers a free tier so you can evaluate the Service before subscribing. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase, and this policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be granted.
Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly plans are billed at the start of each billing cycle. We offer a 7-day refund window from the date of each charge. If you contact us within 7 days of being billed and have not used the Pro features extensively during that period, we will issue a full refund for that billing cycle.
After 7 days, no refunds are issued for the current billing cycle. You may cancel at any time to prevent future charges.
Annual Subscriptions
Annual plans are billed upfront for the full year. We offer a 14-day refund window from the initial purchase date. If you are not satisfied within 14 days, contact us for a full refund.
After 14 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable. You may cancel to stop renewal at the end of the annual term.
How to Request a Refund
Email us at support@freelanceshield.in with:
- Your registered email address
- The date of the charge
- Reason for the refund request
We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days depending on your payment method.
Cancellations
You can cancel your subscription at any time from Dashboard → Billing. Cancellation stops future charges but does not automatically issue a refund for the current period. Your Pro access continues until the end of the paid period.
Exceptions
Refunds will not be issued in cases of:
- Violation of our Terms of Service
- Accounts suspended for fraudulent activity
- Requests made outside the applicable refund window
